Dr. Anna Lucia Pellegrino is a young researcher at the University of Catania in Italy with a strong passion for chemistry and functional materials. After her master’s degree in materials chemistry, she achieved a Ph.D. in materials science and nanotechnology. She is currently pursuing a research project focused on the engineering of inorganic functional materials using both solution- and vapor-phase methods. Particularly, her research interests focus on the synthesis and characterization of lanthanide-doped fluoride thin films for energy conversion processes, inorganic perovskites for photovoltaics, and the synthesis of metalorganic adducts.
