Dr. Taswar Ahsan is a passionate research scientist with over 10 years of experience in both plant protection and microbiology. Exceptional expertise in molecular biology techniques (Omics), microbial culture, microbial biotechnology, soil and phyllo microbiome, analytical chemistry, and nanobiotechnology. He earned his MSc in Botany from the University of Gujarat in Pakistan in 2012. Later, he earned his PhD in Plant Pathology from Shenyang Agricultural University, China, in 2017. Later, he served as an Assistant Professor in Botany at the University of Central Punjab, Pakistan, from August 2017 to February 2020. Afterwards, he joined the department of Resources and Environmental Microbiology, at Shenyang Agricultural University, China, as a postdoctoral research fellow from May 2020 to March 2022. Since April 2022, he has been a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Plant Protection, Liaoning Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Shenyang, China. He has published high-quality papers in top journals as a first author, such as the Journal of Advance Research, BMC Plant Biology, Biological Control, AMB Express, International Journal of Molecular Sciences, and many others.
