Nelly Brugerolle de Fraissinette currently works as a research engineer at the Institute of Interdisciplinary Research on Environment and Materials (IPREM) in Pau (FR). She is part of MANTA, a research Chair aiming at developing novel bio-sourced and bio-inspired materials from the sea. She previously worked at the Interdisciplinary Centre of Marine and Environmental Research (CIIMAR, Porto, PT) as a graduate research fellow, in the context of the European project NoMorFilm (Grant nº 634588) - http://www.nomorfilm.eu/'. For a year, she was responsible for the isolation of secondary metabolites from cyanobacteria with inhibition potential against pathogenic biofilm-forming bacteria.
