Prof. Dr. Yuankun Lin is a Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of North Texas. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Physics from Nankai University, Tianjin, China, in 1991 and 1994, respectively. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada, in 2000. From 2000 to 2004, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Photonics Group, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Toronto. Then, he was hired as an Assistant Professor in 2004 and was promoted to Associate Professor at the University of Texas-Pan American, in 2007. In 2010, he was hired as an Associate Professor at the Department of Physics and the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of North Texas and was promoted to Full Professor in 2015. His research interests include laser optics, nano-photonics, photonic integrated circuits (photonic chip), holographic micro-/nano-fabrication, e-beam lithography, photonic crystal, photonic band-gap materials, twisted moire photonic crystal, quantum photonics, 2D layered and quantum materials, and light emitting and photovoltaic devices.

Prof. Dr. Yuankun Lin is a Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of North Texas.
