Alexandra Ionelia Manolache is a university assistant in Mechanical Engineering at “Dunărea de Jos” University of Galati, Romania, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, a position she has held since 2022. She holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from “Dunărea de Jos” University of Galati, where she conducted her doctoral research under the supervision of Professor Gabriel Andrei. In addition to her academic role, she works as a design engineer specializing in ventilation systems for cruise ships, contributing to complex international maritime engineering projects. Her research activity focuses on renewable energy systems, with a particular specialization in offshore technologies. She has carried out extensive research on the development and optimization of offshore renewable energy solutions in the Black Sea region as well as in other strategic maritime areas. Her key research interests include sustainable energy production, offshore wind and wave systems, and innovative engineering approaches for harnessing marine resources.
