Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering at Universidade Federal do Pará - UFPA (2000), Master of Geophysics at UFPA (2004), Doctor of Energy Systems at UFPA (2010), postdoctorate at the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where he worked as a researcher at the Schulich School of Engineering. Member of the Prof. David Wood research group, acting in the Laboratory for Turbulence Research in Aerodynamics and Flow Control (LTRAC), focusing on developing wind and hydrokinetic turbines. Coordinator of Renewable Energy Technology Research Group at UFPA. More than 40 scientific publications in high-impact international journals, such as Applied Energy (ELSEVIER), Energy Conversion and Management (ELSEVIER), Renewable Energy (ELSEVIER), Energies (Basel-MDPI), and Sustainability (Basel-MDPI). Guest editor of Sustainability (Basel-MDPI) for the Special Issue "Renewable Energy and Future Developments". Also a reviewer of several international scientific journals with a high impact on renewable energy. Currently Dean of the Graduate Program in Mechanical Engineering, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the Ananindeua Campus of UFPA. Has experience in the field of mechanical engineering with an emphasis on fluid mechanics and aerodynamics, working mainly on the themes of wind and hydrokinetic turbine design, mathematical and numerical modeling.
