I am a proud Tongan academic, chemist, and a researcher, currently serving as a Lecturer of Organic Chemistry at The University of the South Pacific. Raised in the village of Vaini on Tongatapu, Tonga, I completed my PhD in Chemistry at Victoria University of Wellington in 2018. I am a natural products chemist, specifically in the discovery of novel, unique anti-cancer compounds and medicinal properties isolated from marine and terrestial organisms from the South Pacific region.
