Carla Benelli (F), Ph.D. is a plant propagation researcher. She is the head of the ‘Cryopreservation lab’ laboratory. Her main research fields include plant biotechnology: micropropagation, synthetic seed technology, and TIS bioreactors and genetic resource conservation: in vivo and in vitro conservation and cryopreservation of ancient fruit varieties.
