Susana A. Llivisaca-Contreras has an engineering degree in Aquaculture from FIMCBOR-ESPOL. She has a Master's degree in Applied Biosciences with a mention in Biodiscovery awarded by the VLIR Network, and she has another Master's degree in Environmental Auditing and Management with a double degree from UNINI of Puerto Rico. She is currently studying for a Master's Degree in Naturopathic Sciences with a Specialization in Biological-Naturopathic Methods from UNINI. She has worked in scientific research at ESPOL since 2011 as Head of the Center for Water and Sustainable Development—ESPOL, with SENESCYT accreditation No. REG-INV-18-02478
