Dmitry Romanov is a research associate in "Sustainable
Energy and Environmental Technology” group (NEUTec) at the HAWK University in
Göttingen. He completed his PhD studies in thermal power engineering at Moscow
Power Engineering Institute. He recently worked on the following research
projects: REWARDHeat (EU Horizon 2020), MEET (EU Horizon 2020), HeatMineDH
(EU-Life), InteGradeDH (IEA DHC), CampusGeoHub (BMWK). His field of interest includes the integration of
waste heat and renewable energy sources into district heating and cooling systems, the modeling of thermohydraulic processes, the application
of geothermal energy for heating and cooling, and the development of educational
serious games.
