Dra. Sara Miralles Cuevas is Professor at Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana of Santiago (Chile). Institutional Program for the Promotion of Research, Development and Innovation. She is Chemical Engineer with two master, Master of Solar Energy (2010) and Master in Biotechnology and Industrial Bioprocess (2011), all of them in the Univ. of Almería. Doctoral Dissertation by Univ. of Almería performed in Plataforma Solar de Almería (2015, cum laude distinction). The PhD Thesis was awarded by International PhD School, Univ. of Almería in October 2016. Her lines of research are related to solar water treatment, elimination of contaminants of emerging concern and inactivation of microorganisms, tertiary treatments, solar photocatalysis and pilot and demonstration plant scale studies. 47 publications (42 papers, 4 book chapters and 1 books), H index 20.
