Yasuhiro Egami received a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Tohoku University in Sendai, Japan, in 1997. He worked at Tohoku Univ. from 1997–1998, at Karlsruhe Univ. from 1998–1999, at the National Aerospace Laboratory of Japan (currently JAXA) as a researcher from 1999–2003, at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) as a researcher from 2003–2009, and at Nagoya Univ. as a COE Associate Professor from 2009–2010. After that, he started work in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Aichi Institute of Technology, where he has been an Associate Professor since 2010 and a Professor since 2013. His current research interest involves developing a PSP/TSP technique for industrial wind tunnel testing.
