Beata Sperkowska is a researcher at Collegium Medicum, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland. Her scientific interests focus on the properties of pharmacognostic raw materials and on food safety, especially regarding food–drug interactions. She is currently investigating non-specific bioactive compounds in both traditional and non-alcoholic wines, as well as dietary factors influencing type 1 diabetes management.
