Prof. Yimin Zhang is a professor and Ph.D. supervisor at the College of Food Science and Engineering, Shandong Agricultural University. She is a Doctor of Engineering and a Postdoctoral Fellow in Biology. She is the leader of the Beef Quality Control Innovation Team, an outstanding youth innovation team in higher education institutions in Shandong Province. She is also a second-level talent in the "1512" project of Shandong Agricultural University and currently serves as a director and member of the Youth Committee. Backbone member of the National Beef and Yak Industry Technology System Processing Research Laboratory. She has visited Utah State University in the United States and the Red Meat Research Center of the Australian Department of Basic Industries as a visiting scholar. Her research focuses on beef safety and quality control, as well as the modernization of traditional meat products.
