Adriana Palacios holds a PhD in Chemical Process Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Her research focuses on major accident analysis, fire and explosion safety, hazardous materials, risk assessment, mathematical and computational modeling, and industrial safety. She has conducted research in Spain, the UK, China, and Italy and published in international peer-reviewed journals. She is a Level 2 member of Mexico’s National System of Researchers.
