Information

Alessandra Alberti was born in 1972. She received her Master's degree in Physics in 1996 (cum laude) and her Ph.D. degree in Physics in 1999 (cum laude). In January 2001, she obtained a permanent position as a researcher at the Institute for Microelectronics and Microsystems of the National Research Council in Catania (CNR-IMM). She is in charge of research laboratories @CNR-IMM dedicated to (a) Magnetron sputtering to grow advanced metals, oxides, and nitrides; (b) Sublimation for hybrid perovskite growth; (c) High-resolution X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray reflectivity (XRR). She is involved in scientific projects and activities on perovskites solar cells (PSCs) and related materials, as well as on materials and processes for power electronics. She has received Italian and USA patents as a principal investigator in collaboration with STMicroelectronics and has several international collaborations. She is the author of ~110 papers published in international refereed scientific journals. She has been tutoring Master's degree students and post-doc positions, and she is a referee of JCR journals.
