Prof. Dr. Chia-Hung Yen is a professor at the Graduate Institute of Natural Products, College of Pharmacy, Kaohsiung Medical University. He received his B.Sc. from the Department of Applied Chemistry, National Chiao-Tung University; M.S. from the Institute of Biochemical Science, College of Science, National Taiwan University; and Ph.D. from the Molecular Medicine Program, Institute of Public Health, School of Medicine, National Yang-Ming University. He was a research assistant at the Institute of Public Health, National Yang-Ming University, and a postdoctoral research associate at the Institute of Microbiology and Immunology, National Yang-Ming University. His specialty mainly includes high-throughput drug screening, molecular biology, tumor biology, biochemistry, organic chemistry, and molecular toxicology. He won the 2009 Excellent Award at the Annual Thesis Competition of National Yang-Ming University. He has published more than 80 publications and holds two patents.
