Dr. Francesca Cicogna (female) has a Master degree in Chemistry (1996) and PhD degree in Chemical Science (2000) both at the University of Pisa, is coauthor of 40 peer reviewed papers, 2 patents, 3 book chapters, and has more than 60 contributions to conferences (H-index = 14). She has experience in the functionalization of polymers (from oil and bio-based sources) by free radical post-polymerization reactions; functional polymers containing active molecules (chromophores and antioxidant) and functional nanocomposites; and surface modification of polymer by photografting.
