Juan Pu received her Ph.D. degree in Material Processing Engineering from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2016．She is currently an associate professor at Shanghai Polytechnic University. Her research interest is welding metallurgy. She has published more than 30 articles in important journals at home and abroad and has made 10 patent applications. She was given the title of "vice president of science and technology" with the Jiangsu high level innovation and entrepreneurship talent introduction plan. She also won second place in the provincial science and technology progress award.
