Ermias Mergia Terefe is a registered pharmacist (by MOH, Ethiopia and PPB, Kenya) with Masters of Science degree in Pharmacology from Addis Ababa University, department of Pharmacology. Currently he is in final stage of his PhD work in Pharmacology at the University of Nairobi. He has also completed postgraduate diploma in curriculum design and development from Open University of Tanzania. Currently he is Chair Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy in the pharmacy program of the School of pharmacy and health science at the United States International University-Africa, Nairobi, Kenya. He has more than 17 year’s professional experience. Dr. Ermias has also served as an Education and Training Officer at USAID funded Strengthening Human Resource for Health (S-HRH) project in Jhpiego-Ethiopia, where he supported more than ten universities in improving quality of health professional’s education.
