Yuki Yoshimatsu is the Head of the Department of Patient-Derived Cancer Model at the Tochigi Cancer Center Research Institute in Japan. She specializes in cancer biology and translational research using patient-derived cancer models such as organoids and xenografts. Her research integrates proteomic analyses—including mass spectrometry-based profiling—with functional assays to elucidate drug response mechanisms and identify predictive biomarkers, particularly in rare and treatment-resistant cancers. By combining molecular characterization with clinically relevant models, she aims to develop innovative therapeutic strategies with high translational potential.
