Dr. Ningqiu Li is the chief of the innovation team for the creation and immune control of aquatic vaccines of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences and the deputy director of the Key Laboratory for the Creation of Fishery Drugs of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. He has been granted 26 national invention patents and has been selected for the "Leading Talent Program" and "Young and Middle-aged Science and Technology Talents" of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences. He has been engaged in the creation and immune control of vaccines for special fish such as the mandarin fish, perch, and snakehead, regionalized control of epidemics, virus-free seedling breeding, and selection of new antiviral varieties.
