Kejia Zhang is currently a Professor of Municipal Engineering at Zhejiang University, prior to which she had been an Associate Professor and a Lecturer at the same university from 2015-12 to 2023-12 and from 2013-05 to 2015-12, respectively. She obtained a Bachelor in Water Supply and Drainage Engineering from Chongqing University, where she studied from 2002-09 to 2006-07, and a PhD in Municipal Engineering from Tongji University, where she studied from 2006-09 to 2011-03. She was a Visiting Scholar in Environmental Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2014-08 to 2015-08 and underwent Joint Training in Environmental Engineering at Cheng Kung University from 2009-02 to 2009-06.
