The principal aim of my research is to help improve the life quality of cancer patients through studying the mechanisms underlying the efficiency of treatment strategies, especially for those with short therapeutic options. I am a biologist oriented to biomedical research on cancer and therapy against the molecular targets of angiogenesis. I am currently working on investigating the angiogenic pathways of triple-negative breast cancer, the participation of endothelial and cancer cell interactions in tumoral vascularization and the anti-neoplastic effects of vitamin D.
