Artificial Intelligence (AI) has revolutionized various sectors, and education is no exception. Online learning platforms, in particular, have benefited significantly from integrating AI technologies. AI can enhance online education's quality and effectiveness by automating tasks, personalizing learning experiences, and providing real-time feedback. This study investigates the impact of AI on online learning system effectiveness in Jordanian higher education institutions. Utilizing the DeLone and McLean IS Success Model, the research explores the relationships between AI features, system quality, information quality, service quality, user satisfaction, and platform effectiveness. Methodology: A quantitative research approach involving data collection through a structured questionnaire was employed. The questionnaire was designed to measure the perceived impact of AI on various aspects of online learning. Data was collected from a sample of learners and instructors at two selected Jordanian universities. Findings: The findings revealed that AI has a significant positive impact on system quality, information quality, and service quality. AI-powered features can improve the technical aspects of the platform, enhance the quality of information, and provide better support services. Moreover, the study found a strong positive relationship between user satisfaction and platform effectiveness. Satisfied users were more likely to perceive the platform as effective, leading to improved learning outcomes and engagement. Conclusion: This study provides valuable insights into the potential benefits of AI in enhancing online learning. By focusing on system quality, information quality, and service quality, institutions can effectively leverage AI to improve user satisfaction and platform effectiveness. Future research should explore the long-term impact of AI on learning outcomes and the ethical implications of AI-driven education.

A transformative shift has redefined how scientific research is conducted and shared in the digital era. Open Science is emerging as a transparent, collaborative, and accessible paradigm at the forefront of this revolution. This study undertakes a comprehensive Bibliometric analysis to explore the multifaceted landscape of Open Science, addressing key aspects such as prevalent topics, top-cited papers, leading journals, productive countries, and active institutions. Utilising a robust dataset from the Scopus online database, which encompasses scholarly literature, scientific publications, and open-access journals across diverse disciplines, the research employs advanced quantitative techniques to delineate the contours of Open Science. The findings reveal critical areas and topics, influential authors and works, prominent journals, and pioneering countries and institutions that shape the discourse. A geographical analysis further emphasises the importance of both national and international collaboration in the Open Science movement. Beyond contributing to academic understanding, this research provides essential insights for a wide range of stakeholders, from researchers to policymakers, and reflects on the broader implications of the findings. The paper concludes by projecting a path for future explorations, including emerging topics such as artificial intelligence, metadata, and ethics in Open Science, and offers lessons from the Open Science practices in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, making it a valuable guide for the ongoing evolution of scientific research and collaboration.

E-government, the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) to deliver government services electronically, offers numerous benefits, such as streamlined processes, reduced paperwork, and enhanced transparency. Nigeria’s e-government journey, initiated in the early 2000s, aims to modernize public administration. However, infrastructure deficits, corruption, and limited digital literacy impede its full potential. This systematic review explores the impacts of e-government services on citizens, businesses, and government agencies in Nigeria and reveals the challenges associated with e-government implementation based on existing literature. Following the PRISMA guidelines, a comprehensive literature search was conducted in SCOPUS and Dimensions databases, focusing on peer-reviewed articles (2000-2024). The Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool (MMAT) was used to assess the methodological quality, resulting in 26 included studies. Findings reveal significant enhancements in government service delivery, transparency, and public participation. 85% of reviewed studies reported efficiency improvements, with systems like IPPIS reducing financial leakages and streamlining HR management. Increased citizen engagement through digital platforms was highlighted by 70% of studies, fostering trust. Critically, over 90% of studies identified poor ICT infrastructure and unreliable power supply as major barriers, while 75% emphasized the negative impact of corruption and low digital literacy. Qualitative synthesis revealed that lack of political will and inconsistent policy implementation were critical obstacles, with only 20% of studies reporting sustained government commitment. While e-government holds transformative potential for Nigeria, addressing these challenges demands targeted interventions, including infrastructure development, digital literacy programs, and stronger policy frameworks. Political will and multi-stakeholder collaboration are crucial for realizing e-government’s full potential.

Open science practices, including research data sharing and reuse, are crucial for advancing scientific knowledge. However, the extent to which Malaysia's National Institutes of Health (NIH) researchers participate in open science remains a subject of inquiry. This study employs an exploratory sequential mixed-method approach to investigate the factors influencing Malaysia NIH researchers’ participation in open science practices. The research combines in-depth interviews with key managers and administrators from NIH and a quantitative survey distributed to the researchers. Through in-depth interviews, administrators provide insights into the institute's perspective on open science. At the same time, the survey explores researchers’ views on factors influencing their participation in open science and how these factors influence the data-sharing practices at the institute. The findings reveal key factors that influence the participation of Malaysia NIH researchers in open science, shedding light on both motivating factors and barriers. The study identifies strategies to promote researchers’ involvement in open science practices through data sharing and highlights the practical implications for the Malaysia NIH and the broader scientific community. Understanding these factors is essential for enhancing open science participation and fostering a culture of data sharing in Malaysia's scientific research landscape. The study suggests strategies for promoting open science practices and calls for collaborative efforts to maximise the benefits of data sharing and reuse.
