Prof. Wesley Wei-Wen Hsiao obtained his MASc from the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Waterloo in Canada. He obtained his Ph.D. from Chemical Biology and Molecular Biophysics (CBMB) of the Taiwan International Graduate Program (TIGP) at Academia Sinica, the national academy of Taiwan. In addition, he has a law degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto in Canada. In 2013, he was awarded a top 100 Ph.D. On-the-Job Training Postdoctoral Fellowship, granted by the Taiwan government. He worked as a postdoctoral research fellow on fluorescent nanodiamond research at the Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences of Academia Sinica from 2014 to 2016. He presently works as an assistant professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in Taiwan.
