Alexis Germán Murillo Carrasco earned a BS in Genetics and Biotechnology from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (Lima, Peru) in 2016. He is now an accredited researcher at Instituto do Câncer do Estado de São Paulo (Brazil). His work on Molecular Oncology has resulted in over 20 publications, presentations, lectures, and courses; memberships, including the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles and Student Network on Extracellular Vesicles; and awards such as the Maria Mitzi Brentani prize (2020 and 2021). His research interests include Oncology, Biomarkers, Genomics, Data Science, and Bioinformatics.
