Prof. Dr. Abdelsalam A. Ahmed was born in Kafrelsheikh, Egypt. He graduated from Tanta University in 2002. He received the M.S. degree from Tanta University, Egypt in 2008. He got his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation from Harbin Institute of Technology, China in 2012. From July 2013 to July 2014, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Department of Instrumental Science and Technology, School of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Harbin Institute of Technology, China. From Sep. 2015 to Sep. 2016, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow in Department of Electrical and Information Engineering, Seoul National University of Science and Technology, Seoul, Korea. From July 2024 to November 2024, he has worked in industrial sector of electric vehicles industrialization and manufacturing in China. He is a peer reviewer in many Transactions and conferences. He is a supervisor of many PhD and MSc thesis and has published about 60 scientific research papers. His research interests are focused on the electric vehicle advanced technologies. It includes electric drivetrain systems (controllers and traction motors), power electronics systems (inverters, rectifiers, DC-DC converters), complete electrical drawings and harnesses of EVs, advanced control techniques (scaler control V/F, field-oriented control, energy storage system (battery modules, battery management system BMS), renewable energy system, intelligent optimizations techniques, Embedded Systems, Jop shop scheduling.
