Dr. sergio Bobbo

Dr. Sergio Bobbo is an Italian mechanical engineer and researcher, presently Research Director at Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche-Institute of Construction  Technologies (CNR ITC). He received his Doctor of Engineering in 1987 and Doctor of Philosophy in Energetics in 1994 at University Padua, Italy. Since 1992, he has been a researcher CNR ITC, formerly Institute of Refrigeration (CNR ITEF). In 1996, he became the Head of laboratory of thermophysical properties of refrigerants at CNR ITEF and from 2020 he is the Head of the laboratory of  refrigerants and nanofluids at CNR ITC. From 1989 to 1992, he was a  System engineer at Tecnomare spa, Venice. From 1997 to 2005, he has been an Adjunct professor at the Faculty of engineering of the University of Padua. From 2009 and 2015 he has been Responsible of the Padova Branch of CNR ITC. In the years 2013 and 2014 he has been President of the CNR Research Area in Padova.
