I am a Mexican Scientist interested in Epigenetics and Genetic mechanisms involved during stress responses and the development of plants. During the M.S and Ph.D. I am focused on understanding the small RNAs (sRNAs) mediated regulation during cell-dedifferentiation & genetic reprogramming. I used maize embryogenesis as a model and Genomic Data Science for global gene expression analysis. I am a passionate Scientific Illustrator, generator of digital contain for Science communication & Academic publications using advanced design tools. I am Associate Professor at Chemistry and Sciences Faculty, UNAM. I participate as a Volunteer Design Coordinator in Científicas Mexicanas, which has enhanced the visibility of Mexican Women Scientific work and Science communication in the Spanish language.
