Lemonia Skoura obtained her MD and PhD degree from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She specialized in Medical Microbiology and Clinical Microbiology and is currently a Professor of Medical Microbiology at Aristotle University and Head of the Medical Microbiology Laboratory of AHEPA University Hospital. Her research interests include nosocomial infections, HIV and SARS-CoV-2. She has authored 92 international publications and performed numerous announcements and talks at scientific conferences.
