Prof. Renaldas Raisutis graduated in 1999 from Kaunas University of Technology (KTU, Lithuania) with a B.S.E. degree in electronics engineering, gained an M.S. degree in ultrasound technology in 2001 and gained a Ph.D. degree in measurement technology in 2005. Since 2014, he has been Chief researcher and Head of Numerical Simulation Laboratory at Ultrasound Research Institute, and Professor at the Department of Electrical Power Systems, Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, KTU. His main fields of research activity are fundamental and applied ultrasound, non-destructive testing, monitoring and quality control, signal and image processing, material characterization, and solutions for predictive maintenance and diagnostics.
