Assoc. Prof. R. Gevrenova is the author of 90 scientific publications, two textbooks, and 500 citations in indexed journals in Elsevier's Scopus database. She is an expert in the areas of medicinal plants, phytochemistry, liquid chromatography, plant metabolomics, and phytopharmacology. She supervises six projects funded by the Medical Science Council, MU-Sofia, and one international project under the Bulgaria–France bilateral cooperation. She has participated in 17 projects funded by MU-Sofia, two projects funded by The Bulgarian National Science Fund, and one project of the European Commission Directive III (E-1). She is a reviewer for the following scientific journals: Biochemical Systematics and Ecology, Molecules, Plants, Journal of Chromatography, Phytochemical Analysis, Phytochemistry Letters and Biomedicines.
