Xiaohua Teng graduated from Northeast Agricultural University in 2008 and received a Doctorate degree in agriculture. She was engaged in the breeding and management of pigs, chickens, cattle, and the promotion of agricultural technology. Now, she is a professor and a supervisor for Master's and doctoral students researching molecular mechanisms of harmful effects of environmental pollutants on organisms. She is one of the "outstanding scholars" at Northeast Agricultural University, is a vice president of “Livestock Ecology of China”(China), and was a chairman and member of the conference academic committee. She won nine scientific research awards and is a member of the Review Committee of Animals. She published 50 SCI papers as a corresponding author, 9 of which and 3 of which are Highly Cited papers and Hot papers, respectively. Her total impact factor and the highest impact factor (Journal of Hazardous Materials) are 211.226 and 10.588, respectively. Her H-index is 24.
