Prof. dr Radica Djedović was born in Serbia, 1964. She graduated in animal husbandry, gained a Master's degree and a PhD at the University of Belgrade (2004). She works as a professor of Genetics, Population Genetics and Breeding of Domestic Animals in the Faculty of Agriculture University of Belgrade. She has published more than 150 papers and 3 books in the field of selection and breeding cattle. She participated in more than 10 national and 5 international projects that dealt with genetics and selection of domestic animals. Her Research interests are evaluation of genetic parameters of dairy and reproduction traits in cattle, estimation of breeding value of cows and bulls and evaluation of selection effects. She is a member of the Serbian Genetic Society and a board chairman of the Institute for Animal Husbandry, Belgrade.
