Prof. Dr. Jianliang Zhang is a Professor at the School of Metallurgical and Ecological Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing. He completed his Ph.D. studies in Metallurgical Engineering at the School of Metallurgical and Ecological Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing in 2001. He is the Director of the Division of Metallurgy and Dean of the School of Metallurgical and Ecological Engineering at USTB. He was awarded the honors of Beijing Excellent Teacher, National Outstanding Scientist, and Special Allowance Expert of the State Council. His research interests include low-carbon ironmaking, hydrogen metallurgy, optimization control technology of ironmaking process, reaction mechanisms of metallurgical processes, direct reduction ironmaking, comprehensive utilization of resources, and metallurgical process expert systems.
