Pharmaceutical Chemist and PhD in Chemistry (UdelaR). Associate Professor with full-time dedication in the Area of Enology and Fermentation Biotechnology, Department of Food Science and Technology, Faculty of Chemistry (UdelaR). Member of the National Researchers System and researcher at Pedeciba Chemistry. Author of 10 book chapters, 40 peer-reviewed articles, and more than 100 conference contributions. My main research interests focus on fermented beverages, microbial metabolism, volatile composition of foods and beverages, and the valorization of beehive products. I particularly enjoy engaging in initiatives that highlight the positive impacts of chemistry on society and everyday life.
