Cláudio de Souza Baptista is Full Professor at the Computer Science Department andCoordinator of the Information Systems Laboratory at the Universidade Federal de Campina Grande, Brazil. He received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from University of Kent at Canterbury, United Kingdom, in 2000. His research interests include geographical information systems, database, natural language processing, decision support systems and information retrieval.
