Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) Excellence Model on education and its contribution to ensuring high-quality education equality. Design/Methodology/Approach: A systematic literature review was conducted based on data from three academic publishers (Taylor & Francis, Emerald, and Elsevier Science Direct). Of the 69 journal articles, 61 were published between 2003 and 2023 and documented the results of the EFQM quality tool, and 8 articles were removed. Findings: The study highlights the results of applying the EFQM Excellence Model in the educational sector. Based on the bibliographic review, the feasibility of using the model in primary, secondary, and tertiary education is identified. We examine the findings related to using the model to ensure equality in high-quality education and the challenges faced by educational systems, with the ultimate goal of meeting student expectations. Research limitations/Implications: An important limitation is that the data were only drawn from three major publishers and the authors did not have access to all the relevant databases, since the search for articles was carried out in English only. The search for articles was limited by the keywords, as the EFQM Excellence Model was originally designed for the private sector. Practical implications: The results and limitations recorded in the study and the presentation of the 88 articles motivate academic researchers to conduct further study and fill the gap left by the limited number of publications on the application of the EFQM Excellence Model in the educational sector. Originality/Value: The EFQM Excellence Model has not been widely implemented in the high-quality educational sector and the existing literature reviews are limited. More research in the field of education is needed to determine the contribution of the excellence model to the evaluation of high-quality education.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of the European Foundation for Quality Management Excellence Model and Six Sigma and Lean Six Sigma approaches in public organizations. Design/methodology/approach: A systematic literature review was conducted based on articles from three academic publishers (Emerald, Elsevier/Science Direct and Taylor & Francis). The 88 selected journal articles were published between 2004 and 2022 and documented the results of the quality tools. Findings: The effects of applying the models in the public sector are presented. From the literature review, specific findings were identified regarding the motivations of all areas of education and services and the challenges they face in applying the qualitative tool methodologies. The main topics discussed are the human factors involved in implementing quality tools. Research limitations/implications: An important limitation is that data were drawn from only three major journals and the authors did not always have access to all databases and peer-reviewed journals or to any review articles in languages other than English. Multiple keywords limited the article search, as qualitative tools have been widely used in the private sector but less so in the public sector. Practical implications: The results and limitations detailed in the study and presentation of the 88 articles will motivate academic researchers to further study the application of qualitative tools in the public sector and fill the knowledge gap caused by the limited publications on this topic. Originality/value: The European Foundation for Quality Management Excellence Model and the Six Sigma and Lean Six Sigma approaches have not been widely implemented in the public sector, and literature reviews are limited despite the increasing trend of their use in the sector in recent years. More future research in public administration is needed to determine the effects and limitations of implementing qualitative tools.

The present study concentrates predominantly on the statement that the voter is influenced by and consumes the political communication marketing formed through political structures, content which is partially created based on the political matters of a country. Consequently, this study is founded upon the point that voting actions reflect what kind of content voters consume; therefore, the elector is the potential customer of the “electoral marketplace”. Accordingly, the primary goal of this study is to explain the effect that the political marketing of various parties might have on voters’ behaviour. Correspondingly, we introduce the framework of the planned research; identify the vital research principles; and clarify the intentions of the study and the required theoretical background, together with the data gathering and analysis methods used at this stage for the implementation of the envisaged project. In this context, primary research has been conducted quantitatively, the conclusions of which confirm the presence of the relationship outlined above. In conclusion, this research demonstrates that there is a certain correlation between broader political marketing and electoral perceptions. According to the survey results, we conclude that there is a positive linear correlation between the values of all four elements of the marketing mix, which is statistically significant. We found that there are three different levels of correlation between the pairs of the political marketing mix. Accordingly, it appears that there is a stronger correlation between Price and Product and between Place and Promotion, respectively, while there is a slightly weaker correlation between Place and Product and Promotion and Product. At the same time, there is an even weaker but still positive and statistically significant correlation between Promotion and Price and Price and Place, respectively. In addition, “Promotion” falls behind the rest of the elements of political marketing, a fact that partially confirms the given picture with regard to political marketing and considers “Promotion”, and thus the actual political/pre-election campaign, to be less influential compared to other components of the political marketing mix (Product, Place, and Price), which, according to the specific results, appear to influence, indirectly but more strongly, the voting choices of Cypriots.

The goal of the present study is to discuss the issue of Cross-Border Reproductive Care known as CBRC and Reproductive Tourism. The subject is of great interest as this type of tourism has been flourishing in recent years, without, however, being thoroughly researched, regarding the very important, health, quality of medical care, financial, ethics, legality and transparency or illegality, aspects concerning the processes that are carried out for the desired result of human reproduction. In addition, one of the sharpest-increasing types of Cross-Border Reproductive Care is international surrogacy. Thousands of interested people travel abroad for IVF and ICSI treatment, or with the aim to employ the paid services of foreign surrogates. The search for solutions has made CBRC a global industry. It is a multibillion-euro international industry introducing unique legal, financial, ethical, and risk-management challenges and disputes. The current study addressed this gap by examining Greek citizens’ attitudes toward Reproductive Tourism and Cross border reproductive and their legal, financial, ethical, consequences. To test the research hypotheses, a survey was conducted on 652 Greek citizens, who answered a questionnaire, which was distributed electronically in the format of a Google form. For the data analysis the study used the multiple correspondence analysis – MCA of sphere of multivariate data analysis. The results discuss, as far as the legal dimensions are concerned, the restriction on specific reproductive treatments in the country of residence. IVF and ICSI are allowed in almost all countries but there are legal restrictions regarding the age of the woman or the couple, unmarried couples, single woman, gay, transgender and same-sex couples. As far as the financial dimension of the CBRC is concerned, the study discusses the lack of financial data that is a natural consequence of the lack of both national and global registers. The cost of infertility treatment seems to be one of the most basic reasons for those interested to seek assisted reproductive services outside the borders of their country of origin and residence, and the commercialization of health is an ethical issue that deserves further study in relation to the country of destination. In addition, the study discusses main ethical issues regarding donors and surrogate mothers, among others, which have to do with their exploitation, their moral and physical harm, possible child abuse, parental rights and the sale of babies which are considered of a major importance. Donor or surrogate mothers may suffer from serious and even life-threatening complications. Donor or surrogate mothers from low and economic backgrounds do not have the possibility of legal support and coverage and cannot claim parental rights. Additionally, the study debates the high cost of treatments, health and care benefits, the economic exploitation of women from countries with weak economies, the instrumentalization of women, the legal issues and rights of descendants born in destination countries and in terms of their repatriation, the correct information and informed consent for the medical procedures to be performed, as well as many others because the list is long. According to the study the need that is obvious, due to the great impact of the CBRC, concerns the creation of a universal protocol through the European Council and the College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (EBCOG) as well as the American College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ACOG) to remove all the above mentioned issues , issues and moral dilemmas that above all will guarantee the good of health, justice, non-harm, the good of justice, autonomy and self-determination and finally, human rights.

The purpose of this study is to determine the effects of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (MBNQA) quality tool in education. Identifying the main themes of these effects is an additional aim of the present study. Understanding these issues can enable higher and secondary education centres to direct their management towards achieving outstanding results. A systematic literature review was conducted based on data from two academic publishers, Emerald, Taylor and Francis. The 41 peer-reviewed journals articles were published between 1990 and 2023 and presented the results of the MBNQA quality tool in education. According to this research, several implications of the MBNQA quality tool in education are presented. The review of the literature reveals that there are many results found about the application of the quality tool in Tertiary and Secondary education, the challenges they face in terms of innovation, human resources and operations, as well as the achievement of excellent results from the application of the methodology. The main topics supported in the literature are human resources, knowledge management and the quality of services offered for the satisfaction of teachers and students. An important limitation is that data were drawn from only two major journals (Emerald, Taylor and Francis), as implementation of the MBNQA quality tool is mainly found in the private sector. In addition, many keywords such as Quality Assurance and Business Excellence, led to application of the quality tool in businesses and organisation and little is its application in the public sector and education as a result the findings of articles were limited. An equally important limitation is that the authors did not always have got access to all databases and peer-reviewed journals, as well as in any review articles in languages other than English. This research is of interest to academic researchers, scholars and key decision makers in the field of education. The advantages recorded from the implementation of the MBNQA quality tool and the limitations from the study and presentation of the 41 articles motivate academic researchers to further study service quality in order to create a climate focused on learning for the satisfaction of students and teachers so as to fill the gap of limited publications in the field of education. Many models have been adapted to higher education including the MBNQA quality tool. The MBNQA appears to have the largest number of historical applications in higher education, with its focus on customer satisfaction and improvement information. However, the systematic literature review reveals the increasing trend of using quality tools in the field of education in recent years. Moreover, literature reviews on the use of models in this field are limited. Therefore, more research is needed to determine the benefits, as well as limitations and outcomes of applying qualitative tools in Education in the future.

This chapter aims to introduce statistical implicative analysis (SIA), a groundbreaking statistical methodology that is transforming data analysis in the field of marketing. SIA is utilized to ascertain students' attitudes towards the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in entrepreneurship education. The study explores the future entrepreneurs' intentions to embrace AI and foster innovation within the realm of digital entrepreneurship. An extensive review of the literature and theoretical frameworks was conducted to assess the determinants and conceptual constructs influencing the utilization of AI in entrepreneurship. The proposed model was evaluated using responses from 523 participants. Statistical implicative analysis was employed to validate the hypotheses. The model's validation highlights that conceptual constructs such as performance expectancy of AI, entrepreneurial education, risk aversion, social support, business support, business climate, and perceived behavioral control have a significant impact on entrepreneurial intentions.
