Biography

I am a multidisciplinary researcher in Process and Chemical Engineering with expertise in catalysis, nanotechnology, and environmental applications. I obtained my B.Sc. (2011) and Master’s degree in Gas Refining and Engineering from the University of Abdelhamid Ibn Badis Mostaganem (Algeria), and later a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Málaga (Spain) under a Cotutela program with the University of Mascara. My doctoral research focused on the valorization of lignin for the development of carbon-based materials for adsorption and catalytic processes. In 2022, I joined the Green Chemical Engineering and Nanotechnology group at the University of Murcia with a prestigious Margarita Salas postdoctoral fellowship. I have published 27 articles in peer-reviewed journals, contributed to 18 international and national conferences, and served as referee for several indexed journals including Catalysts, Polymers, and Scientific Reports. I have delivered more than 150 hours of lectures, co-supervised 9 Bachelor and Master theses, and obtained both the “Profesor Ayudante Doctor” and “Profesor Permanente Laboral (PPL)” certifications from ANECA.
