Prof. Yi Li is a professor and an advisor to Ph.D. students at the College of Water Resources and Architectural Engineering, Northwest Agriculture, and Forestry Sci-Tech University. Prof. Yi Li completed his B.S. studies in agricultural hydraulic engineering at the Shihezi University (1996), M.S. studies in agricultural soil and water engineering at the Shihezi University (1999), and Ph.D. studies in hydrology and water resources at the Xian University of Technology (2002). Prof. Yi Li's research interests include the simulation of crop growth and soil systems, the effects of wastewater on water repellency and mass transfer of soils, GIS- and RS-based vegetation ecological water requirement, and drought analysis impacted by climate change in northwest China.
