Dr. Yuhlong Lio is a Professor in Mathematical Sciences at the Department of Mathematical Sciences, University of South Dakota, Vermillion, SD, USA. He obtained his BS in Mathematics from the National Cheng-Kung University, his MS in Mathematics from the National Central University, and his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of South Carolina in 1977, 1979, and 1987, respectively. He is interested in theoretical and methodology developments via mathematics. His research includes Stochastic Processes, Reliability, Survival Analysis, Kernel-Smooth, and Mathematical Modeling.
