We introduce the generalized Farlie–Gumbel–Morgenstern (FGM) type bivariate-generalized exponential distribution. Some distributional properties of concomitants of order statistics as well as record values for this family are studied. Recurrence relations between the moments of concomitants are obtained, some of these recurrence relations were not publishes before for Morgenstern type bivariate distributions. Moreover, most of the paper results are extended to arbitrary distributions.

In this paper, we show that both the class of beta-generated distributions GF and its base distribution F belong to the same domain of maximal (or minimal or upper record value or lower record value) attraction. Moreover, it is shown that the weak convergence of any non-extreme order statistic (central or intermediate order statistic), based on a base distribution F, to a non-degenerate limit type implies the weak convergence of GF to a non-degenerate limit type. The relations between the two limit types are deduced.
In this paper we study the limit distributions of extreme, intermediate and central m-generalized order statistics, as well as m-dual generalized order statistics, of a stationary Gaussian sequence under equi-correlated set up. Moreover, the result of extremes is extended to a wide subclass of generalized order statistics, as well as dual generalized order statistics, when the parameters γ1,n, γ2,n, … , γn,n are assumed to be pairwise different.
