Giorgio Piazza is currently a Phd student of Science and technologies of electrical engineering and complex systems for mobility at University of Genova. Previously was a research fellow of Power System at the same University. He has won the G.B Ferrari best thesis award from ABB for his MSc. Thesis in Energy Engineering. His main research topics are optimal design and control of energy communities and smart microgrid with a specific attention on electric mobility.
