Dr. Alalouch Chaham is an Associate Professor in Architectural Engineering at Sultan Qaboos University. He is an academic, a scholar, and an architectural engineer with a background in urbanism. He writes and speaks regularly on how to improve people’s quality of life through sustainable and smart design and construction of our buildings and cities. He is Editor-in-Chief of the refereed journal “Open House International” and Associate Editor for and member of the editorial boards of several other reputable journals. Dr. Chaham’s research, teaching, and services have been recognized for excellence with several national, regional, and international awards. His research has been featured in the international digital press. Dr. Chaham has published a large number of papers in international refereed journals covering a wide range of topics related to his broad areas of interest. Dr. Chaham has delivered invited talks and keynote speeches at international conferences around the world, as well as many other talks, workshops, and presentations at several international, regional, and local conferences and events.
