Dr. Mahmoud Moradi is currently the Programme Leader for MSc Advanced Design and Manufacturing and a Lecturer at the University of Northampton. He has been active in laser material processing for 18 years. His main scientific contributions have been laser material processing, non-traditional machining, welding technology, additive manufacturing, and 3D/4D printing. He has published more than 150 papers in international and national journals and conferences and nine book chapters in the areas of his interest. He was a scientific committee member, keynote speaker, workshop presenter, chairman, and chair of panels for various international conferences. He is an editorial board member and guest editor of several reputable journals. He was featured in the “World Ranking of Top 2% Scientists in the World” in 2023, 2022, 2021, and 2020 for 4 years, based on a Stanford University report.
