Dr. Rana Muhammad Aadil got his Doctoral degree from South China University of Technology (SCUT), Guangzhou China. During his Ph.D., he received “Overseas PhD Scholarship from Chinese scholarship Council 2010–2014”; and participated as an organization committee member of 8th CIGR Section VI, International Technical Symposium “Advanced Food Processing and Quality Management”, November 2013 Guangzhou, China. He also received an award from the graduate school of SCUT for “innovative paper certificate, and best student award from SCUT of the year 2014. He joined as an Assistant Professor in a recognized institution (University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan), which is a top-ranking university in Pakistan. As a principal investigator, he completed three research projects with one undergoing. He has published more than 120 articles in different-impact-factor journals and eight book chapters in Elsevier. He is currently editing three special issues as a guest editor in the International Journal of Food Science and Technology, Journal of Food Quality, Frontiers in Nutrition. Currently, his major research studies are focusing on non-thermal processing techniques (sonication, thermosonication, pulsed electric field, high-pressure processing, etc.) of fruit and vegetable processing and preservation, food safety, and sustainable food production.
