Asif Sukri received his Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology and Molecular Biosciences with the highest honors from Rochester Institute of Technology, New York, USA, and received his PhD in Microbiology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia for his studies on the role of immune responses in Helicobacter pylori carcinogenesis and discovery of novel biomarkers for the early detection of stomach cancer.
