Dr. Stephen J. Ives is the Associate Chair and Associate Professor for the Health and Human Physiological Sciences Department at Skidmore College. He received a B.S. from Ithaca College in 2005, an M.S. from Springfield College in 2007, and a Ph.D. from the University of Utah in 2011. He received a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Salt Lake City, UT. His research interests surround the mechanisms underlying the integrative physiological responses to exercise and how challenges to health (e.g. aging or disease) may alter these responses.
