Chiara Maria Mazzanti is the Genomics Group Leader at the Genomics and Transcriptomics laboratory of the Fondazione Pisana per la Scienza. She received from the University of Pisa her Master’s degree in Biological Sciences and her Ph.D. in Experimental Oncology in 2004. She obtained her Specialization in Clinical Pathology at the University of Pisa in 2015. She spent many years abroad, at the Laboratory of Human Neurogenetics, NIAAA, NIH, Bethesda, MD, USA; at the Advanced Technology Center National Cancer Institute of Health (NCI/NIH, Bethesda, MD, USA); and at the Laboratory of Human Cytogenetics, Cancer Research UK, London Research Institute. She has authored over 100 publications totaling 6326 citations and an h-index of 34 (Scopus).
